Olafsvik, Iceland - 1932. Attended Art Academy of Oslo, where he studied painting, fresco and picture. He has studied also in the Art Academy of Firenze, and attended Byzantine mosaic classes in Ravena, Italy. In 1958 he settled in Paris. He has been a movie's director, had travelled around the world, participating in seminars, meetings visiting and participating in exhibitions. The panel for the Oriente station is a discontinuous narration, a gallery of mythical, historical and fiction characters: Anfitritis is the Goddess of the Sea, captured by an octopus, a young man fighting against a shark, a mermaid, the Titanic victims' visages, caravels of the great Portuguese expeditions, Vasco da Gama, Fernão de Magalhães and Pedro Álvares Cabral, Poseidon, Donald Duck nephews, Justice and finally a huge eagle flying over the beautiful Oriente and protecting her.
