Dublin, Ireland - 1945. Sean Scully and his family moved to London in 1949. There he attends the Croydon College of Art, and the Newcastle University. He presents his first solo exhibition in USA, in 1973, and he has been living there since 1975. In 1983, he became an American citizen.
